Preparation and Cooking Suggestions
Rinse Roland® Sushi Rice 2-3 times in cold water. Drain. In large pan, add 1.1 cup water per 1 cup rice. Let sit for 15 minutes. Bring rice and water to boil for 1 minute, cover and reduce heat to simmer. Cover for about 20 minutes. Turn off heat, let sit covered for 10 minutes. Fluff with fork and serve.
RICE COOKER INSTRUCTIONS Rinse rice 2-3 times in cold water, until water runs clear. Follow rice cooker instructions for white rice. Let stand for 5-10 minutes in rice cooker after it has finished the cook cycle. Fluff with fork and serve.
STOVE TOP INSTRUCTIONS Rinse rice 2-3 times in cold water, until water runs clear. In a medium pot place 1 and ½ cups water and 1 cup of rice. Bring to a boil for one minute, cover and reduce heat to a low simmer. Cook for 16-18 minutes, until all liquid is absorbed. Remove from heat and let stand covered for 5-10 minutes to remove any excess moisture. Fluff with fork and serve.
